Chris Babida 鮑比達，一位在香港出生及已享譽港、台、中三地樂壇三十多載的資深音樂人，或許當年剛出道的他，其名字可能只限見聞於香港的專業樂師及歌唱界圈子內。惟他於七十年代後期與著名女歌星鍾玲玲的一段婚姻關係，大大地促增了他在普羅港澳樂迷中的知名度。儘管他過往在作曲、編曲、及各式音樂會中任指揮等工作方面所顯示出的個人才華與取得的輝煌成就，聽眾早已有目共睹及毋須筆者多言，但或許樂迷們可能早已忘掉了他昔日首張以個人及其伙伴樂隊名義灌錄的唱片，竟全都是為順應當年潮流及市場需求而收錄的「的士高」節拍樂曲產品，由已息影的港產片性感女星葉玉卿胞兄葉志銘所創立的Bang Bang繽繽唱片公司於1976年出版、一張名為《Dyn-O-Mite Disco》的LP。
