------------------------------------------- 懷舊之寶 由一九七六年夏天的一晚起… 一九八五年七月《號外》 Disco Queen
回想尚是少女的時代，當時約爲1976年，一位朋友參加了一個modelling course，求知慾驅使我每天都準時到達集訓地方去當「旁聽生」（因自問生得五短身材）。久而久之便跟各人混熟，參予他們一切課外活動，included going to 'The Scene'。
The Scene，當年in people之rendezvous，去也當然要dress up赴會。那時我會翻箱倒櫃，將心愛的Fiorucci穿上，然後雀躍萬分落disco。
The Scene位於半島酒店的後門，甫下「的士」已經土got the groove。當時The Scene的盧叔叔(即現今閣下去Canton見到的盧經理)在入口處以嚴謹的尺度調查入場人仕的年齡及behaviour。那時尚未擁有成人I.D. Card的我，心中一沉，向同伴借來香煙，大踏步向Mr. Lo，口操自以爲流利英語，一句How much is to go in？瞞天過海，便開始了我「蒲」的一生。
The Scene的日atmosphere和音樂可算是首屈一指，當日的DJ Andrew Bull亦已成爲今日Canton的managing partner，以disco老祖宗的姿態安享晚年(雖然Andrew今年只是三十出頭)。
那時候常到The Scene的人都是十分之sophisticated的一羣，大概有Judy Mann (當今名designer，當日之名模)，Bambi Lam (當日名振一時的top male model)，肥寶 (今日Catwalk的Anna Lo)，Eddie Lau（今日當紅fashion designer)，Suzanna Chung (最有味道的fashion model，今已退出天橋，以半退休姿態敎授modelling)，Loletta Chu (今之霍家大少奶奶)，Peter Man (名模，稍後期的Vamp的proprietor)等等，可想而知當日的The Scene確爲猛人的集中地。
而當日常到Cage去的一羣年輕人都在今日的entertainment field中可以找到，有今日最紅的dance choreographer梁俊宗，Apollo 18的D.J. Jack Chow(當年Jack的swing爲他赢取了所有disco的dance champion ship)，Danny Chan(陳百強)，Mark Kim (Le Salon top styler)，甚至Kenzo (When he came to Hong Kong he was there every nite)。
於78-79年間開設的disco計有：Disco Rock (灣仔)，Grammy (Humphreys Avenue)，Colosseum（漢口道），Bar-City (New World Centre)，Disco Disco（中環)，Disco Fever (北角)，Disco Valentino (Holiday Inn Golden Mile)，Bybloo (Austin Rd.)。
Disco Rock 的managing director是灣仔區的蔡先生，經理是Stanley Ruk，DJ是Roy Malig。但大概維持了一年，股東發生意見，便宣佈散股。
Disco Fever的managing director是William Tsai和Francis Tsai，而DJ則是Robert Young和Roy Malig（Roy於稍後加入），當時的Disco Fever可稱全港最大，dance floor長度達到50呎，兪琤亦曾參與其中的推廣，但這地方多災多難，三個月後易名New Scene，由當年The Scene的manager Mr. David Gilhooley經營，惟地點太差終於改爲韓國菜館。
Valentino亦即Another World Disco的一個section，第一位DJ是Sabu，數度易角，最後而又最長久的一位DJ是Roy Malig，而同時間John Malig和我亦於此時加入。Another World於1982年將分隔Valentino和Another World的sound proof wall打掉，進展成爲half live band + half disco的night spot，而與此同時亦以大量宣傳吸引消費者，尤以Eliza Chan的「今晚夜Cha-Cha大賽」令當時牽起一片Cha-Cha熱潮。
不可不提的一點是：Another World Disco是當年最多promotion的disco，而隨後而來的disco都因此而注意到promotion的重要性，令競爭更爲明顯。
可惜這段期間只是稍縱即逝，因爲有了新的發展。Manhattan Group在尖東開設Hollywood East，New World Hotel開設了Faces，Royal Garden開設了Royal Falcon，稍後有海城集團的New York New York。
Hollywood East爲disco打開了另一頁，繼Manhattan以後，Hollywood East成爲九龍區的hottest disco。第一位DJ是Johny Proctor，而manager則是Manhattan的manager Olivia Yeung的妹妹Irene Yeung。New York New York令disco走向越開越大的傾向，而當日的manager任職Tropical的Steven Wong。DJ則是一羣十分green的人，麥德和亦曾在New York New York當過一段日子的打碟工作。
當Hollywood East的聲勢令到各disco都透不過氣來，甚至Manhattan亦受到十分之大的影響，生意額一落千丈。Manhattan Group遂將Manhattan改頭換面，成爲Hollywood Boulevard，但亦挽救不了它的命運，不到兩年便宣佈引退了。Boulevard的manager是當日的Manhattan的Olivia，而DJ則是現任Hollywood East DJ director的Alan J. Jewell（Akan亦即MTV的host）。
進行中的Pastels（位於Pedder Building Basement），是Manhattan Group和Ricky Sazaki的合作，將於仲夏開幕。
Disco歷史仍然繼續。
由從前到現在，大家去disco的目的各有不同。
in people去disco爲了to see and to be seen，gay people去disco爲了fishing。ordinary people去disco爲了celebration (birthday，being promoted in an 1/E firm，wedding，etc.)。drug pushers去disco爲了....，hookers去disco爲了生計，公子們去disco爲了顯示他們的揮金如土，Starlets去disco爲了找大戶。總而言之，各種人都可以在disco得到他/她們所追求的目的。
Disco Queen浮沉disco廿年的最後一個提議：若你有足夠的self-control，深信不會被hookers，drug pushers或你認爲噁心的gays碰上，那我便認爲到disco去是一件值得的享受，當然的好事。See you tonite。
至於disco這名字及活動在港的正式興起，是約原於1977年末，一問位於中環德輔道中34-38號(現址為富邦銀行總行(香港))名叫『椰加達 Jakarta』的南洋餐廳，開始每逢週五及週六晚上，把餐廳內的檯椅稍作整理、及進駐了僱用的disc jockey後，場地隨即被僻作舞池，提供予顧客大跳其時流行之所謂「的士高」舞步；而不久後跟風的類似經營模式埸所，還有位於雲咸銜7-9號(現址為荊威廣場)的Dateline Restaurant(帝蘭餐廳)、前金門大廈(現名為美國銀行中心)樓上商場內的英式酒吧餐廳The Old Vic Pub & Restaurant，以及當disco熱潮走入高峰期間、位於太古大廈(現時為遮打大廈)1樓商場內的老牌英式酒吧Jockey Bar & Pub。
Disco Queen在其文章第七段，曾提及昔日的Another World (1976-11-18 開幕) 及Good Earth Disco，是以live band形式來吸客的。記憶中，當年位於灣仔軒尼斯道48-62號華光大廈(後改名為上海實業大廈)地庫及由趙世曾公子斥資開設的3388、中環前希爾頓洒店(Hilton Hotel，現址為長江集團中心)內的The Den、銅鑼灣前怡東酒店(The Excelsior Hotel，現址為港島壹號中心)頂層的Talk Of The Town、尖沙咀彌敦道前凱悅酒店(Hyatt Hotel，現址為國際廣場isquare)頂層的Polaris、尖沙咀前新世界中心地庫第二層「洒城」內(現時K11 Artus)之Zodiac，皆是以相同形式經營的知名夜場。
1977年10月12日，一齣由一位被本地報章影評人稱作「唯美派」大導的英國攝影家David Hamilton 大衛咸美頓(1933-2016)負責執導、及名為〈少女情懷總是詩 Bilitis〉之情色浪漫格調西片，在當年邵氏院線的兩間戲院「明珠」及「文華」公映。基於該片採用的那類「柔焦」(soft focus)攝製風格手法，對於其時的本地戲迷而言，可算是一頗新鮮之視覺印象；更加上優美的配樂，以至媒體帶出的強勢宣傳效果後，電影最終在港取得了甚佳的賣座成績。
收錄於《Laura Les ombres de l'été》電影原聲帶唱片LP專集內的全部歌樂曲，由瑞士籍歌手Patrick Juvet(1950-2021)譜作及編曲；其中兩首配上了英語歌詞的"One Way Love"及"Fire"，由Patrick Juvet灌唱、及該唱片專集之監製人Bryan Southcombe填詞。而這兩歌其後也有收錄於1980年一張以Patrick Juvet其個人名義出版的《One Way Love．Fire》單曲唱片SP專集內。

至於為何"Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini"這曲在往後某些互聯網討論區及社交媒體上，被網民稱作"銀河芬蘭浴之歌"？查其因由是原於約在80年代中期開業、及位於九旎旺角區登打士街56號前家樂商場(現為家樂坊)地庫的「銀河」芬蘭浴室(已結業多年)，其出現於電視螢幕(多於深夜時份)及戲院銀幕上的廣告短片，是以上述樂曲作為背境配欒的呀！
