陶醉的六七十年代情懷: 文志兒童合唱團

轉瞬間，壹年壹度的聖誕佳節還有廿多天就來臨了。隨着這普天同慶的日子迫近之際，一些往昔陪伴着我們成長的美妙聖誕歌曲，也自然不過地重响於我們的腦海或感覺中；趁此時機，筆者預祝各新知舊雨網友聖誕及新年快樂！

回顧上世紀六七十年代的香港樂壇，本地歌手或組合所曾灌錄的聖誕歌曲唱片，不論其是以英語或華語演繹，在數目上實在不算太多，而其中較富代表性的，筆者相信應總不離開下述的數張...

江玲這張歲月留聲的聖誕歌曲唱片，對於筆者而言，是有着極深厚的感情意義。追溯那是約於六十年代中，父母把它與另數張江玲的唱片帶入家中後，每到聖誕期間，它便會被母親及家人們放在唱盤上播過不停，並延年不斷地伴着筆者成長直至完成中學後往港謀生。而數首收錄於唱片第二面內、以交替的英語及從昔日基督教會『普天頌讚』詩歌篇轉載過來的粵語歌詞作演譯的傳統聖曲，更是令自幼被基督信徒母親帶往教會慕道的筆者心靈中，倍添另壹份的親切感，亦喚回了腦海中壹些可能早已被抹掉去的名字，如"齊來崇拜" (O Come All Ye Faithful)、"新生王" (Hark！The Herald Angels Sing)、"聖誕佳音" (The First Noel)、"美哉小伯利恆" (O Little Town Of Bethlehem)、"普世歡騰" (Joy To The World)、"夜半歌聲" (It Came Upon The Midnight Clear)….

這張由一班帶着稚嫩聲線的小朋友來演譯聖歌的專輯唱片，其選歌與1974年文志公司為潘迪華及瑪莉諾合唱團(Rebecca Pan & The Voices Of Maryknoll) 出版的《White Christmas》長壽唱片內之選歌，實際上是完全相同，不同之處是歌曲被冠上了一個新的華語名字、及由七十年代資深填詞人詹惠風先生改配的粵語歌詞而已。
