Rowena Cortes 露雲娜 – Very, Very．You Can Have Him (1969)

2009年10月末，我們目睹了闊別香港流行樂壇廿多年的露雲娜 (Rowena Cortes)，以神秘嘉賓身份，出現於她昔日好友賈思樂 (Louie Castro)舉辦的「弦續友情30載音樂會」中。翌年8月，她更與陳奕迅 (Eason Chan)合灌了一曲"講男講女"、及在其澳門演唱會中任表演嘉賓；其後並曾接受某報章娛記訪談時，透露她正積極減肥，為復出再戰樂壇作好準備云...

猶記筆者於數年前，也曾在本網誌內，載上了一篇露雲娜於70年代中、為好市(House Records)公司效力時的灌唱歌曲貼文。這回再把時光倒流多一點至1968年，就是當年僅得5歲的她，參加了由英文星報(The Star)主辦的天才新秀歌手大賽(Talent Quest)，憑着一曲Desmond Mayne的作品"Very, Very"，一舉擊敗眾多的強勁對手，包括了數年前離世的著名電台DJ及音樂人陳任 (Joe Chen)，登上冠軍寶座。

1969年，她這奪冠歌曲被百代(EMI)公司灌成單曲唱片面世，為她往後成功踏上本地樂壇之路，奠下重要的里程碑。

Rowena Cortes 露雲娜 (好市唱片年代)

1976年9月，一位年僅十四歲、在香港成長的菲籍活潑可愛女孩子Rowena Cortes(露雲娜)，參加了無線電視(HK-TVB)舉辦的流行歌曲創作邀請賽，並憑著一首來自同鄉前輩Andy Bautista的作品"There's Gotta Be A Way"，榮獲冠軍大獎。她獲獎後旋即被當時的好市唱片公司(House Records)青睞，在短短壹年間為後者灌唱了下列共三張的個人LP專集：

好巿唱片公司在1977年底被併歸繽繽唱片公司(Bang Bang Records)後，露雲娜於1978年改投EMI唱片公司，但只灌錄了一張個人的《Rowena Cortes Greatest Hits + 2》LP專集，她便離開了；其實該張專集，除了兩首是她首次為電影〈大煞星與小妹頭〉以粵語演繹戲中的主題曲"心花放"及插曲"誰能預計"外，其餘的全都是她在好巿唱片公司時期曾灌唱過的歐西歌曲。而她也是〈大煞星與小妹頭〉該片中的演員，更自始開始了在影視圈的發展。

1981年，無線電視(HK-TVB)推出了一套青春劇〈荳芽夢〉，露雲娜也有參與演出，並兼唱了由Anders Nelsson作曲的同名主題歌；這曲面世後大受聽眾歡迎，奠定了她繼續在往後轉唱粵語流行曲的基礎。同時她也改投了寶麗金(PolyGram)唱片公司，後者在1982年為她出版了一張名《青春1,000日》的個人LP專集，唱片內有其從唱以來的代表作"傳說"(無線電視(HK-TVB)的日本卡通片集〈千年女王〉插曲)、"荳芽夢"及"青春1,000日"等歌。其後她灌唱的熱賣歌曲，還有在1985年面世的"雨中Sha La La"及1987年的"戚眼眉"等。而她這些粵語歌曲，全都有收錄在九十及千禧年代寶麗金/環球唱片出版的《寶麗金88極品音色系列 - 露雲娜》、《二十世紀光輝印記露雲娜DCS聲選輯》、《真經典露雲娜Rowena Cortes》、《環球+百代 經典無間系列–露雲娜》、及《露雲娜 '87》、《青春 1,000日》CD專集內。

近年來，本地報章娛樂板已鮮有有關她的近況報導，僅有的是某網上討論區曾提到她的兒子已有十六、七歲，不會復出演唱了。

2006年，文志唱片公司終於出版了她在「好市」年代灌唱的歌曲CD版。
